Immanuel Filmworks was established in 2005 by Duane Lloyd and Ron "China" Jackson. The two met in 1994 and began to form ideas about the company. After 5 different changes, the name 'Immanuel' carried weight.
Its meaning; "God is with us", became the mindset for what the duo would have to endure in order to fulfill their calling. The entire meaning is "God is with us in our filmed work". This definition has become more than prophetic. It is the earnest expectation while conducting business of winning souls in the name of Jesus Christ, through cinematic endeavors. From script, to screen, to DVD, into the minds of viewers worldwide, God is with us.
